Jerry B. Sanders was born and raised in south Louisiana and is an avid outdoorsman. After retiring as an engineer from a major U.S. oil company, Sanders discovered his love of writing and now spends his time between hunting, travelling, and writing. His fascination with medieval England, the writings of Bernard Cornwell and Ken Follet, and the many adaptations of Robin Hood and King Arthur have inspired and influenced his work. Between Heaven and Hell is a trilogy infused with Sanders’ strong sense of duty and deep love for his family, paying tribute to his father in the form of the main protagonist, Troy Kensington. He now lives in Tahlequah, Oklahoma with his wife Cordelia.
