Growing up I never thought about publishing a novel. I graduated college with a financial degree, with the intentions of becoming a lawyer. I dropped my seat in law school and graduated from the National Forensic Academy in Knoxville, Tennessee. From there I have worked in lawn maintanence, house painting, digging ditches, and now a manager of a metal recycling yard. I enjoy writing about characters that are different, yet the reader can still relate to. I set my novels in Tennessee, because so many of stories out there are based in locations like New York, Los Angeles, or Boston. I wanted to show you can have intriguing plots in southern region of the country. I am born and raised in Monroe County, Tennessee where I still live and am working on the third Jonas Lauer Mystery.
