John Arthur is an accomplished executive, having helped lead startups, high-growth companies, large publicly-traded firms, and nonprofits. Today, he serves on the executive team of a growing, publicly-traded firm based in the United States. He approaches his work with humility, curiosity, and the spirit of both a student and a teacher. Those qualities, along with the many leadership roles he has served in, have enabled him to observe what makes some careers take-off while others never do. Such observations became the basis for his book Manage Your Career: Learn Quickly, Avoid Pitfalls, and Start Your Career With Momentum. Outside of the business world, John devotes time and support to nonprofits ranging from local foundations to global organizations. He is a health nut, and enjoys running, cycling, and trying the latest fitness crazes as he tries in vain to slow the aging process. He and his family live in the Midwest and enjoy skiing, hiking, cooking, and traveling. He is excited to share his hard-earned lessons and observations with you!
