JOHN KEAHEY is a retired newspaper reporter/news editor, and “writer who travels” who is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He first visited Italy and Sicily in 1986 and, enchanted, keeps returning in between writing travel narratives. His sixth book is "Following Caesar: From Rome to Constantinople, the Pathways That Planted the Seeds of Empire". His other books deal with Southern Italy, Venice, Western Tuscany, and Sicily. He is married to Connie Disney, a freelance book designer.
