Jon Bonné is one of the leading American voices writing on wine and food. He is currently the managing editor of Resy; served as senior contributing editor for PUNCH; and for nearly a decade was the award-winning wine editor of The San Francisco Chronicle. He is also the author of the newly released two-volume set "The New French Wine," which won the André Simon Award, as well as "The New California Wine," which won the Roederer International Wine Book of the Year, and the bestselling "The New Wine Rules," published in eight editions. In addition, he spent half a decade as JetBlue Airways' wine consultant, creating what Travel+Leisure called “the best overall wine selection among U.S. carriers.” Bonné’s journalism career spans more than two decades. He has covered food and wine for MSNBC, Saveur, Food & Wine, The Washington Post and The Art of Eating. As chief wine critic at The Chronicle, he ran the only standalone wine section in a major U.S. newspaper, co-edited the paper's Food & Wine coverage, and selected the newspaper’s annual Top 100 Wines. His work has been honored by the James Beard Foundation nearly a dozen times. He lives in New York City and Paris.
