Jon Wortmann is an executive and mental coach, trainer, and speaker. He has delivered more than 3500 live presentations and over 10,000 individual coaching sessions. A graduate of Harvard Divinity School, his books have been #1 best sellers in 22 categories on Amazon. His work has been featured in O magazine, Elle, Huff Post, Fox, Fast Company, The Globe and Mail, and Psychology Today. As a principal at Novel Communication, LLC and ThoughtLeaders, LLC, his corporate clients include Fortune 500, multi-national, international start-up, government, pharma, healthcare, financial service, and global public service organizations. In the non-profit world, he has trained dozens of municipalities, school districts, and affiliate groups in addition to thousands of public sector leaders to be strategic communicators and intentionally manage stress. He has lead 43 service projects to cities like New York and Toronto and disaster areas like New Orleans. The suburban-urban partnership program he co-lead for a decade in Worcester, MA provides summer camp for 80-100 1st through 6th graders every summer. As a mental coach, his professional golfers have earned status on the PGA, Champions, Korn Ferry, Challange, and PGA Americas tours. He is assistant to men's golf at the University of Connecticut, and his amateur students have qualified for the US Amateur, US Men's and Women's Four-Ball, and US Mid-Amateur. He has coached tennis at UCONN and Nike Camps, NWSL soccer, and Coaching Philosophy and Ethics at the Institute for Rowing Leadership. His present research focuses on the role of brain health in sports and executive performance and the behaviors that build trust in organizations and public life.
