Meet Jonathan Reed Jonathan Reed is a father, seasoned educator, financial expert, and personal development enthusiast with a passion for empowering today's youth. About two decades ago, Jonathan discovered that there was a major gap in teen education. There was too much focus on formal education and too little attention was being paid to practical life skills. As the father of two teenagers himself, he decided to devote his time to helping teenagers experience a smoother transition to adulthood. His commitment to helping teens build a strong foundation for their future led him to develop the TeenWise brand, dedicated to equipping young adults with essential life skills and empowering them to thrive in a fast-paced world. In the last 15 years, Jonathan has mentored hundreds of teenagers (and their parents) in the areas of financial literacy, leadership, and personal growth. Through his TeenWise book series, he has continued to provide teens with essential knowledge and tools to prepare them for a successful future. Published by seasoned publishers, WiseHouse Publisher, the series cuts across almost every aspect of life. He teaches teens about money making and management topics like investment, financial freedom, stock trading, NFT, crypto, management of portfolios, and personal finance tips. He also focuses on alternatives to traditional careers, such as vocational training, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, freelancing, and remote work. He also demystifies the development of character traits like self-confidence, communication, leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and productivity. Jonathan believes that by building character and self-assurance, teenagers can be better taught to face life challenges with more confidence and self-assurance. Jonathan lives with his wife and last-born daughter on a farm in California. When he is not writing, Jonathan loves playing squash and chess.
