Raised in Idaho where the locals say, “if you don’t like the weather, wait a minute,” Jordan grew up and moved to Ohio where he found the locals say the same thing. He now resides with his wife, two dogs, and upcoming child in a place with a shockingly similar climate. Jordan Allen was born in Utah, raised in Idaho, and now claims to be a resident of Ohio (allegedly) with his wife and two dogs. A lover of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, sharp suits, a still morning on the golf course, and using his mind to battle hair loss, Jordan spends his days drilling on teeth, attempting to start a work out regimen, and disliking healthy smoothies. Jordan is a dentist by day, asleep at night, and groggy in the mornings. He enjoys a good pint of cookie dough ice cream (daily, if possible), whipped cream with a little bit of pumpkin pie (but only around Thanksgiving), and the taste of gatorade when dehydrated (honestly, there’s nothing better). He married way out of his league and has thus far managed to keep that secret from his wife for over half of a decade. When he’s not spending time making children cry or extolling the virtues of flossing, he hangs out with his wife and two dogs, practices his short game, and practices his long game. He can occasionally be seen practicing his medium game as well. He is constantly on the lookout for well-made suits, the perfect crepe pan, and an eccentric pair of socks. Okay, here's a semi-serious one: Jordan Allen grew up in southeastern Idaho. The second of four boys, he had a great love of reading, golf, and the star-filled night sky. After two decades of fresh mountain air, sunshine, and the potential for snowfall in any given month, Jordan moved with his wife to central Ohio to pursue a degree in dentistry. The slightly warmer climate, the lush green foliage, and a few new friendships helped get the creative juices flowing. Dental school proved to be an enjoyable time with new challenges and new opportunities, one of which was writing a book. Jordan, his wife, and two golden doodles currently reside in Ohio where they continue to live the dream.
