Joseph Bell – Author, Creator, Storyteller Joseph Bell is the creator of The Cosmic World of Olympus, a sprawling mythological universe built on imagination, heart, and heritage. But before he ever put pen to paper, Joseph was a kid from Pittsfield, Maine — a small town that shaped a big part of who he is. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, and raised by a young single mother, Joseph grew up in a blended household full of love, brothers, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. When he was six, his stepfather Matt entered his life — a quiet man who taught Joseph the meaning of strength, respect, and hard work not through words, but by example. Alongside his brothers and cousins, Joseph’s upbringing was grounded in chores, sports, shared bedrooms, and tight family bonds that shaped the values he carries into fatherhood today. A proud graduate of Maine Central Institute, Joseph was part of a community that embraced both the arts and athletics. MCI’s diversity and spirit left a lasting impression, and it was there that he developed an early love for performance, storytelling, and culture. After high school, he attended the University of Southern Maine before eventually making his way to Texas. His career path took several turns — from banking to health and fitness, where he spent 12 years helping others become their best selves. But it was in the quiet moments, sharing stories with his kids, where something deeper began to take root. What began as bedtime tales evolved into full-fledged world-building, and from that spark, The Cosmic World of Olympus was born. Joseph is a devoted husband and father of two amazing kids, who are the constant source of his inspiration and purpose. For him, storytelling is more than just fantasy — it's a tribute to the people who raised him, the values he was taught, and the legacy he hopes to leave behind.
