Josh Langley – author, illustrator, daydreamer. After failing high school twice and spending a ridiculous amount of time being unemployed, Josh went onto create a successful career as an award winning radio creative writer spanning 20 years. However it was his insatiable thirst to find the meaning to life and death and the insights he received that lead to the publishing of 3 illustrated books about happiness and two nonfiction Bill Brysonesque travelogues of his adventures to find evidence of the afterlife. Josh lives on 7 and a half acres in the South West of Western Australia with his partner and a bunch of neurotic chickens. (2014) Picture Books: - Frog and the Well: Unconventional Happiness (2012) - Follow Your Heart: Everyday wisdom for an Extraordinary Life (2013 - Being You is Enough and other important stuff (children’s book) (2016) Career Highlights: • 20 year radio advertising copywriter career. • Multiple international and national advertising awards. • Copywriting lecturer at WA Academy of Performing Arts • Guest speaker at Paracon Australia 2015 • Guest speaker at Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival 2016 • Guest Children’s author for the Margaret River Young Readers school tour. (14 schools, 1,100 students) Josh gives talks on several topics including; • How to get published and insights into the publishing industry. • His writing career, inspiration and motivation. • Insights from his afterlife adventures. • He also visits primary schools talking inspiring kids with his book Being You is Enough.
