Joshua A.H. Harris is the author of Eyes of Iris, Atmosphere Press (2025), and Unorthodoxy, Atmosphere Press (2019), which won an IPPY award for popular fiction. He is a father, teacher, and recovering environmental attorney. He grew up in Laramie, Wyoming, served in the Peace Corps in Mali, West Africa, and currently lives in the Bay Area. He holds a B.A. from Brown University, a J.D. from UC Davis, and an M.A. English/M.F.A Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. His writings have appeared in Common Ground, East Bay Times, Gravitas (Pub House Books), Berkeley Times, and Ars Poetica. He also wrote Out of the Fog (2014), a serialized novel released one chapter per week over the course of a calendar year, and Common Sense 2019: A Bipartisan Call to Take Back Our Government, a political pamphlet that addresses the fundamental problem of money in politics. In 2017, he served as an associate editor for La Vil: Stories from the Streets of Port-au-Prince, Voice of Witness (San Francisco).
