Author, Encourager, Storyteller. Born and raised in Ireland, Julianne Stanz is a nationally known speaker, writer and storyteller who combines her love of Ireland with her passion for prayer and spirituality. She is the author of the books "Braving the Thin Places: Celtic Wisdom to Create a Space for Grace" (2022), "Start with Jesus: How everyday disciples will renew the Church" (2019) and the co-author with Joe Paprocki of the book "The Catechist's Backpack" published by Loyola Press (2015). She writes a monthly column for The Compass newspaper called "A Space for Grace" and blogs for "The Catechist's Journey", a blog for catechists published by Loyola Press. She is an avid reader and beach glass hunter and can regularly be found by the shores of Lake Michigan hunting for her latest find, either in glass or in words.
