K C Murdarasi is a Scottish author who writes short stories, novels and flash fiction, as well as non-fiction. She has been writing professionally since 2007, when she returned to the UK after a stint as a missionary in Albania. You can get to know this strange and fascinating country by reading Murdarasi's novel "Leda". Before moving to Albania, K C Murdarasi attended the University of St Andrews (the best university in the world), gaining a first in Ancient History, which, together with a DipHE in Theology, she put to use in her books "Patrick of Ireland: The Boy Who Forgave" and "Augustine: The Truth Seeker". She also dabbled in Medieval History, and has written a book about "Why Everything You Know about Robin Hood Is Wrong" (depending on how much you know, obviously). Moving into more modern history, she brought out a new, annotated version of the classic Victorian travelogue, "Rambles Round Glasgow", which was very much a labour of love. She is eclectically educated, disturbingly well-read and has a brain full of useless facts and obscure words, but can't remember anything sensible like where she left her pen. Both before and after her time in Albania, K C Murdarasi held a number of dull office jobs. As a form of comic therapy, these are parodied in her collection of short stories "Office Life and Death". People who meet her mostly ask her how to get their book published, so to save her breath she has written the very brief and explicitly-titled guide, "How to Get Published".
