Kami is an Ohio native and mother of two. She developed a love for reading at a very young age. She started writing short stories and poetry in middle school as a means of healing. She quickly realized the therapeutic power that words can bring. She is also an entrepreneur as well as a Book Blogger of @KamisKurrentReads where she uses her platforms to highlight black authors in the industry. She has a passion for not only books but the black authors behind the books.
