Kat is an Oklahoma native and a Systems Integration Specialist by trade, a self-proclaimed coffee gremlin by day, and a storyteller at heart. Fueled by caffeine, dark chocolate, and a lifelong love of anime—especially Sailor Moon—she’s passionate about romance novels, cosplay, and chasing adventures whenever life allows. She lives with her fiancé, Chris, her two daughters, and four fur babies who either keep her company or keep her on her toes during writing sessions. Kat began writing at fourteen, starting with fanfiction inspired by her favorite worlds like Sailor Moon and Dungeons & Dragons. Her passion for storytelling evolved into full-fledged novels, and in September 2022, she self-published her debut, Darkest Before Dawn, followed by its sequel, Ring of Fire, in August 2024. When she’s not building the world of Slayers and Vampires in The Infinity Chronicles, Kat enjoys time with her family and raising her daughters—her greatest adventure. She’s currently working on the third installment in the series, along with an epic fantasy side project.
