Kathrin Burri, born in 1976, is a mother of two and has been working in childbirth support since 2015. She is a trained doula and provides expectant parents with emotional and practical support during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. In 2018, she conducted an online survey on the topic of “prolonged breastfeeding” with several thousand participants in German-speaking countries. Kathrin Burri has completed numerous further training courses in breastfeeding, birth hypnosis, birth support, postpartum and mental health and lives and works in Switzerland. She advises families neutrally and independently of brands and institutions. "Hardly any new mother knows or plans how long the breastfeeding period with her child will last. And suddenly the child is older and still breastfeeding. And it just feels normal."
