Ken Eurell was born and raised in Queens, New York during the '60s. He is a former NYPD officer. Hired in 1981 at the age of 20 he was assigned the streets of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn for training, then assigned to the seven five precinct in the East New York section of Brooklyn. It wasn't until a fateful partner assignment years later in 1987 that Eurell was exposed to the darker side of the NYPD. This left the difficult decision whether to cross over the thin blue line that separated cops from criminals. Eurell began to write down his exploits into a memoir. The criminal activity continued for 5 years until 1992 when he was arrested on R.I.C.O. charges with his ex-partner from the seven five precinct. In 2014 he appeared in the documentary The Seven Five. He is working with Sony pictures on a Hollywood version of Betrayal in Blue/The Seven Five. Today, Eurell resides in Florida and remains married to his wife Dori of 31 years who stood by his side. They enjoy riding their Harley motorcycle. Together they raised two successful children and enjoy spending time with their two grandsons.
