Since 2018 Kevin Nunez has been on a journey of self-discovery. He remains on the New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities as Vice Chair. He has also recently expanded his advocacy portfolio to SABE or Self Advocates Becoming Empowered a regional self-advocacy organization. He has not only sought to respond to our profoundly changing world but also learn from others how to be the best self advocate he can be. He also still has the ever present desire to build coalitions with others to make his corner of the world better for people with disabilities. The mission never ends.
