Kim Frank is an author, filmmaker, and photographer passionate about exploring the intersections of nature, humanity, and storytelling. Her debut book, Elephants in the Hourglass, launches in January, offering readers a deeply personal and poignant exploration of the natural world and the passage of time. In addition to writing, Kim directed and produced the documentary Where the Forest Roars, which examines the delicate balance of human-elephant coexistence in North India. Her decades of experience as a writer also include contributing text to Paul Nicklen’s acclaimed book Born to Ice. When she’s not writing, Kim enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, spending time with her family, and researching untold stories from the wild corners of the world.
