Kimberly Burk Cordova’s journey is one of resilience, discovery, and boundless creativity. She spent the majority of her life in Denver, Colorado, lived several years in Portland, Maine, and now calls Santa Fe, New Mexico, home, where she lives with her husband, Greg, in a city that perfectly matches her vibrant spirit. Kimberly’s deep connection to these three vibrant locations has inspired her storytelling, and she has written books celebrating the unique cultures, histories, and adventures they offer. Her tales bring these places to life for readers, drawing on her personal experiences and the many stories she’s gathered along the way. As the founder of Cordova Consulting, Cordova Books, and Cordova Creations, Kimberly supports the dreams of other writers by publishing their works alongside her own. Her passion for storytelling extends beyond her personal projects, as she helps others bring their ideas to life, fostering a diverse and creative community through her companies. Life took a fateful turn for Kimberly in 2021, when a sudden move to Santa Fe brought her to an apartment she secured sight unseen. Shortly after settling in, a chance elevator encounter with a handsome neighbor led to a 45-minute conversation in the hallway. Though both were instantly drawn to each other, they remained friends for over a year before Greg asked Kimberly out for coffee. That coffee date became the true beginning of their love story—a tale of timing, serendipity, and deep connection. Family is at the heart of Kimberly’s life. Her daughter, Channa, and son-in-law, Stephen, have blessed her with two wonderful grandchildren, Vera and Tillman, whom she lovingly calls her “grandsugars.” From snowshoeing adventures to afternoons crocheting thoughtful gifts, Kimberly treasures every moment with her family. A seasoned IT Consultant and Leadership Development Consultant, Kimberly balances her busy professional life with a thriving writing career. She is passionate about empowering her clients, helping them unlock their potential and navigate today’s fast-changing professional landscape. Her zest for life is evident in everything she does, whether she’s exploring the world through travel, indulging her love for trivia, or appearing as an extra in Netflix, Apple, and ABC productions filmed in Santa Fe’s thriving entertainment scene.
