Kimberly McOwen Yim is cofounder and executive director of SOCO Institute, and she writes and speaks on issues related to human trafficking. She is coauthor of Ending Human Trafficking: A Handbook of Strategies for the Church Today (2022) as well as the book, Refuse To Do Nothing: Finding Your Power To Abolish Modern Day Slavery (20123). She sits on the advisory board of the Global Center for Women and Justice, the I-5 Freedom Network, and Special Operations. She was a member of Foreign Affairs Chair, Congressmen Ed Royce’s Human Trafficking Congressional Advisory Committee and currently joined Congresswoman's Young Kim's Congressional Human Trafficking Taskforce.
