Her family also founded Podunk, the beloved East Village tea room, which the New York Times called "ephemeral" and Frances McDormand named as her favorite place in New York. Although Podunk lives now in the mists of memory, Kimberly still drinks tea daily at one of its tables while plotting her next book or perhaps her next trip to London.
