Laura Delarato has an active 9-5/5-9. A Bronx-born weirdo with too many, Laura is currently the Creative Director at Vox Media’s branded content studio Vox Creative. She spends her free time writing essays, walking her dog, and dreaming about the day she will live in an Italian coastal town. Previous to her current role, she was on the creative team at Refinery29 where she led branded campaigns dedicated to changing culture for the betterment of women. As a founding member of the 67% Advisory Board, a collective dedicated to representing the plus-size invisible majority in all content, she worked in partnership with Aerie and Lane Bryant to create a multiple initiatives to disrupt sizeism in the media industry. Her last project with R29 became part of fashion history as the first-ever, data-driven, plus-size clothing collection in partnership with Eloquii. Laura’s essays, written work, and art has appeared in Condé Nast Traveler, Coveteur, The Cut, Healthyish, Travel & Leisure, Allure, People.com, ManRepeller, Decode Future Summit, as well as being a featured writer in HBO’s Inspiration Room; a 2019 pop-up event dedicated to the unedited female experience.
