Lily Devalle (pen name) is a clinical psychologist from New York, where she obtained her Ph.D. and experience in diverse clinical settings.She has published academic papers and articles, and has a media presence across TV, radio, and print. In recent years, Lily has turned to creative writing to present mental health issues in a more entertaining format and challenge stigma on a larger scale. Her first novel, Confessions of a Female Stalker, yet to be published, is a psychological thriller that explores obsessive love through a darkly humorous lens. She is currently developing a second novel, The Strange Bright Days, which examines the spectrum of mental health and identity issues during a colorful romp through the glamorous (and sometimes not-so-glamorous) world of 2000s Manhattan. Lily’s passions include travel, yoga, fitness and martial arts, particularly Taekwondo, where she holds a Third Dan black belt. She is also a supporter of UK organizations such as the National Theatre, the Almeida Theatre and the Women’s Prize for Fiction, along with various animal rescue charities.
