Lisa Martin is a compassionate author, trauma-informed educator, and dedicated advocate for emotional, cognitive, spiritual and physical healing. With a body of work that bridges evidence-based therapy, ancestral healing, and cutting-edge natural remedies, Lisa empowers readers to understand their inner world and reclaim their health—body, mind, and soul. She brings personal experience and profound empathy to her writing. She believes healing is a journey worth taking and hopes her words inspire others to reclaim their peace, one step at a time. Drawing from both scientific research and a deep understanding of human experience, Lisa writes with clarity, warmth, and purpose. Her mission is simple yet profound: to help others heal deeply, live freely, and remember the power they already hold within. In her personal life, she is the mother of a special needs child and a caregiver for diminished capacity individuals. Her practical experience in learning methodology and focused training needs of people who need to learn and function with distinct guidance has given her professional life a unique groundwork to pave the way for nearly anyone to learn and thrive. After more than 40 years of leadership in the corporate worlds of retail, banking, securities and extensive training development, coaching and management, she retired early to work on her passion projects and spend time with her family and pets. These days, Lisa is usually found reading books if she is not writing or shopping for them. She, her husband and two adult children & families love to travel and are active in numerous groups and events within their community. And she LOVES rock music of every kind; was raised on a farm in Montana with Charlie Rich, Lynn Anderson, Marty Robbins, Waylon & Willie, and The Little River Band (among many others!) in the background of her childhood home. She also writes in other topics under the pen names Beth Faulkner and A.J. Martin.
