Liza Nash Taylor lives with her family and three dogs in Keswick,Virginia, in an old farmhouse that was built in 1825. The house inspired and is a setting in both of her historical novels. Liza writes on the double porch and in the old bunkhouse, with the occasional black snake and a pretty sweet view of the Southwest Mountains (which is featured on the cover of In All Good Faith). In 2018, she received an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Art and was named a Hawthornden International Fellow. She was the 2016 winner of the San Miguel Writers Conference Fiction Prize. Her short stories has appeared in Microchondria II, (an anthology by the Harvard Bookstore), Gargoyle Magazine, and others. When she's not writing, Liza pulls weeds, mentors fellow writers, speaks on fashion history, walks with her pointer Otis, and knits tiny foxes and tiny fox sweaters.
