Lonnie Smith is a U.S. Air Force veteran and leading advocate for neurodiversity, inspired by his children to champion the untapped potential of neurodivergent minds. He is the founder of The Holodec Virtual Reality Tech Center, which uses immersive VR experiences to help neurodiverse individuals discover hidden talents and unlock new abilities. He also serves as CEO of Autisarian, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering the autistic community through innovation, creativity, and opportunity. Lonnie’s hands-on approach helped his two autistic sons achieve extraordinary success—one as a world-renowned artist, the other as a successful YouTube entrepreneur—proving what’s possible when neurodiversity is embraced, not ignored. He is also the creator of award-winning animated films that are airing on national television and featured at major film festivals. Lonnie serves on the Board of Directors for OC87 Recovery Diaries and is a member of the Thomas Jefferson University Neurodiversity Council. His work continues to open doors, shift perceptions, and build a world where neurodiverse minds have the power to shine.
