M. E. Fisher- Maria Elizabeth Afif Fisher (Liz) Fisher and her family recently moved to Olathe, Kansas from Phoenixville, PA. She was born in NYC, raised in Scarsdale, NY and spent most of her adult life in Philadelphia and NY. Fisher was a closet writer and her husband encouraged her to pursue it seriously. He has been supportive through her days, months and years on end of absorption in her work, when she is either writing, talking through her story or thinking about her writing. Fisher paints as well. and occasionally posts shorts of her process on her youtube channel @lizafif. She is grateful to her small, but faithful following and, fun fact, she hates the word "journey," but thinks "moist" gets a bad rap.
