Maureen Hope Sullivan was born in Washington, D.C., and lived for the first six years of her life in Rockville, MD, before going overseas, where she spent most of the next 20 years. As the daughter of a U.S. State Department diplomat, she lived in Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Ethiopia, before returning to the U.S. to attend college. She graduated from Boston University and later received an MBA from the Simmons College Graduate School of Management. She has worked as a technical writer, editor, and consultant in both the computer software industry and the medical devices field. Maureen has written travel articles, poetry, and fiction, and was the publisher of the "Southern NH Children's Directory" and related publications from 1994 to 1999. Her current titles include: "Trail Magic: Lost in Crawford Notch" (Fiction) - an action/adventure story surrounding a lost child in New Hampshire's White Mountains. "Trail Magic: Lost in Crawford Notch" has been the recipient of several book awards since its release, including being named the Bronze Medal Winner of the 2009 Moonbeam Award, the Bronze Medal Winner of the 2009 IPPY Book Award, and the Gold Medal Winner of 2010 Mom's Choice Award. "The Sullivan Saga: Memories of an Overseas Childhood" (Non-Fiction) - a memoir of her experiences of being raised in a family of seven children overseas. "Jet Trails: Looking for Blue Skies" (Fiction) - an action/adventure romance of a widow who gets on a plane to jump-start the next chapter of her life. "Goodbye Woodstock: The Last Reunion" (Fiction) - a story of three generations of women — mothers and daughters — who return to a hippie commune in Oregon on the anniversary of Woodstock to figure out how to help each other through the next phases of their lives, and join together to protect their grove of redwoods and the commune.
