Margaret Lynn Brown is an Emeritus Professor from Brevard College in Brevard, North Carolina, where she taught Environmental history and Wilderness in American Life for 28 years. An avid hiker, Brown did historical research and trail narratives for the famous "brown book," Hiking Trails of the Smokies.
