Marilynne Eichinger, entrepreneur, founder, and developer of institutions promoting science education, shares her experiences in writing and art. An anthropology graduate of Boston University, Eichinger continued her studies, receiving a master's degree from Michigan State University. She was the founder and former president of the Impression Five Science Museum in Lansing, Michigan, and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in Portland. After running museums for 25 years, Marilynne founded and published, with the help of 22 national institutions, the nationally distributed Museum Tour Gift Catalog to encourage science learning in the home. During has served on numerous boards and committees throughout the nation. Eicihinger raised five children and mentored numerous struggling youth. She enjoys traveling with her ten grandchildren.
