The author Marita Kürschner became known through her crime series "Lapislazuli & Mr Wichtig", in which two furry investigators solve crimes in a very catty way. With the time travel novel "Olim - Eine Reise ins Vorgestern" she has put a story that has long been in her head on paper. It was only when she retired that she found the leisure to do so. It was important to her to present her hometown of Viersen with its changing and exciting history in an adventure of courage, friendship, intrigue and love. The third book in the crime series will be published in autumn 2024. Research for volume 2 of "Olim" is underway. In her ongoing retirement, she finally finds time for her hobbies such as reading, knitting, baking and her garden. New novel projects are planned. She also edits novels and short stories for self-publishers as Lektorat Ömchen.
