Mark Quann grew up in the cold weather of Canada in a blue-collar family, his father a brick mason, his mother a stay-at-home mom. At times, they struggled to put food on the table, and growing up in the "poor neighborhood" offered little-to-no opportunity. Frustrated with the lack of financial education in school, Mark began asking his parents, "How do I make money?" They soon nick-named him "Money Mark." When growing up, Mark disliked school and reading and much of his education came from the school of hard knocks. Despite attending college for business and financial advising, Mark left for sunny California in 1999—in search of the American Dream—but buried deep in credit card debt and student loans. After two decades of investing and studying how money works, and 13 years as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR), Mark has authored three books: "Rich Man Poor Bank" was released in 2014 and teaches "What the banks don't want you to know about money" and provides a 10 Step Plan for Financial Security. Rich Man Poor Bank is available in print in English and Spanish. Mark second book, "Top 10 Ways to Avoid Taxes" was released in 2018 and teaches the strategies that the top 1% use to build wealth and legally avoid taxes. Both Rich Man Poor Bank and Top 10 Ways to Avoid Taxes were also released as audiobooks. Mark’s third book covers the power of using life insurance for triple tax-protection—while providing permanent life insurance and long-term care for income and asset protection. As of 2019, Mark is the President and CEO of the REMIi Group, Inc. which delivers custom-tailored financial strategies to business owners, the emerging affuent and high net-worth individuals. During the start of the COVID pandemic, Mark’s team launched a financial education school teach “The Perfect Portfolio” strategy which is summarized @p2wealth on YouTube. When not working Mark also works with schools, non-profits and community groups to spread financial education to anyone that wants to learn. Mark lives in Southern California.
