Mary Lee Esty, Ph.D., is one of the foremost theorists and scholars in the field of Neurotherapy. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a doctorate in health psychology, Dr. Esty is a Senior Fellow in Biofeedback and Neurofeedback. Her peer-reviewed research in TBI began with an NIH-funded study published in The Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation (2001) and a follow-on study with Iraq/Afghanistan veterans in The Journal of Neuropsychiatry & Clinical Neurosciences (2012). Research evaluating the efficacy of Neurofeedback on TBI and PTSD in soldiers continues in association with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Conquering Concussion has been named one of the Best Books of 2014 by Kirkus Reviews, as well as one of their top 12 Most Edifying books and has received “Starred Reviews” from both Kirkus Reviews and Bluelink Review.
