Dr. Matthew S. Stanford is CEO of Hope and Healing Center & Institute and adjunct professor of psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine and Houston Methodist Hospital's Institute for Academic Medicine. His research on the interplay between psychology and issues of faith has been featured in such national publications as The New York Times, USA Today, and Christianity Today. A fellow of the Association for Psychological Science, he is the author of numerous research articles in psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience as well as several books including his most recent Madness and Grace: A Practical Guide for Pastoral Care and Serious Mental Illness.
