Michael Camp is a former evangelical missionary, aid worker, and church leader, who was in the evangelical movement for 25+ years. He lived in Africa for seven years, including in Somalia, Kenya, and Malawi. He has worked for Food for the Hungry, World Concern, and World Vision. Camp studied missions at William Carey University and Fuller Seminary and earned a Masters degree from Eastern University. After he began deconstructing evangelical Christianity using a good study of history, he went through a huge faith shift. His first three books address these experiences. After his missions career, he worked in marketing and sales in the Microsoft business software channel. Today, he is a podcaster, faith deconstruction coach, theology nerd, craft beer lover, and a notoriously bad golfer. He's a leader in a secular service organization called Rotary International, where he helps facilitate microfinance and development projects in Africa and Asia through his local Rotary Club. Michael and his wife, Lori, reside in Poulsbo, Washington. Learn more at spiritualbrewpub.com.
