Dr. Michael Spratt {mike} was born in Texas. He lived in Texas from 1950 until 1995, then moved to Florida. Mike has had assorted professional activities including fireworks vendor, draftsman, car mechanic, bookkeeper, motorcycle salesman, computer programmer, IT manager, university professor, sporting goods company CEO, restaurant owner/operator, business consultant, and bicycle designer. In 2020, everyone was surprised by a virus and Mike was surprised by kidney cancer. At this time, Dr. Spratt decided to begin writing. Mike has designed and sold over a million bikes that he knows have made lots of people happy and hopes his stories can be as fun for readers as the bicycles are for cyclists. Besides enjoying writing, Mike likes to ride bicycles & motorcycles, listen to music, eat out, being in nature, and hanging out with any or all of his 3 kids.
