Michael Tofte Jr. is a distinguished polymath whose career spans education, business development, and the creative arts, consistently delivering exceptional results across multiple domains for over two decades. As a writer, Tofte learned of his talents in 1991 when he had a school assignment to write a poem. He wrote the poem in a few minutes in the back of a minivan with a friend and immediate family members. When he read the poem in front of the class, the teacher and all the students accused him of plagiarism except the friend in the car. He would go onto write rock songs for the band, The Blackberry Sheep, which disbanded almost as fast as it formed. The song released on iTunes and Spotify in 2025, “Following the Night” was one that survived from that era. In 1997, he wrote the playlet, By Blood or By Heart, which is available to read on Amazon Kindle. In 1999-2000, Tofte entered a comedy competition as the only non-professional and took 2nd place, which allowed him to perform at Laugh is Hope Comedy Club located on Park Avenue in Manhattan. In 2003-04, he would enter the Paul Robeson Poetry Slam Competition in Newark, NJ where he would earn runner-up and take the cash prize. That same year, he would go on to win The Shakespeare Trophy of Excellence for his poem “Victims of the Ghetto” and was invited to perform on stage with Leslie Nielsen (actor in the Naked Gun and Airplane series) and Ed Asner. He would then go onto perform in the hip-hop industry under the artist name EULOGY before walking away due to moral and ethical conflicts. His songs in which there is no conflict are available on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, etc. under the label Bliss Finder. From 2009 - 2014, Tofte wrote for an International Publishing House and went on to publish multiple books in English and French. Additionally, he has written screenplays, Unbroken Faith, The Rooster, The Finders, and Projecto: Street Superhero; as well as the novels, Unbroken Faith, The Rooster, The Finders, and Projecto: Street Superhero; and Vampire King of Somerset, which are all available on Amazon Kindle.
