Morgan Shamy is a former ballerina and concert pianist whose transition to writing has taken the Young Adult literary world by storm. With a lifelong foundation in the arts—beginning at age four—Morgan danced professionally, performing solo at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall and training hundreds of students, some of whom went on to receive full scholarships to world-renowned ballet institutions including the School of American Ballet, Kirov Academy, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Harid Conservatory. Morgan’s artistic depth and emotional storytelling were born from a deeply personal journey: she discovered writing as a creative lifeline when her three-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer.
