Richard Parker was born in 1963 in Romford, United Kingdom. He has twin daughters, Kelly and Hayley. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical and Production Engineering (Honours) degree and a Masters of Business Administration master degree from Henley Management College. For the first 24 years of his career, he worked in various positions with a blue chip motor manufacturer before leaving to establish his own management company. This led to a number of positions where he ran and operated as the strategic leadership for the various businesses. At the same time he established his property development company which he now runs full-time. He wrote SSAS Pension Legacy because as part of his investment journey, he found that the information openly available of utilising a SSAS pension was very limited.
