Nina Pick is a somatic counselor, certified NeuroAffective Touch practitioner, and group facilitator who is passionate about bringing a trauma-informed, heart-centered, and attachment-based approach to her work with individuals and groups. In recovery since 2009, she is the author of The Mind-Body Guide to the Twelve Steps: Finding Joy, Sensuality, and Pleasure in Recovery. Her other books include a children’s book, Tall Oak and Small Owl; a poetry book, At the Edge of the Dirac Sea; and The Gardener Says, a collection of quotes about gardening. She received an MA in counseling psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and an MA in comparative literature from UC Berkeley, and has additional training in a range of somatic and spiritual modalities. Based in Massachusetts, she loves cats and is always up for a good dance party.
