About the Author Norma Johansen is a native Houstonian and was raised in the church. The foundations of her faith-based upbringing are both Catholic and Pentecostal. She attended Catholic School and served in the Catholic children’s choir. Norma attended her father’s Pentecostal church and sang the special songs with her father at his Pentecostal church. Norma attended the Kingdom School of Ministry in Georgia and graduated from The Company of Prophetic School in Africa. During one of the class sessions God spoke this book, Overcome Heartbreak Because You Can! into existence and He used my teacher Prophet Bongani Franz all the way from Africa. Norma also attended the Billy Graham Cove Program in North Carolina. She aspires to be an inspiration to people who are hurting and struggling with a broken heart caused by divorce or a broken intimate relationship. Norma’s dream is to speak to people in Divorce Care groups to share her story of redemption and healing. Currently, Norma serves in her church choir at Lakewood Church. Norma is a committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and loves to share her testimony of God’s goodness in her life. She resides in Houston, Texas, is a mother of two sons, and has four grandchildren.
