Omar Covarrubias was born and raised in Coyoacán, Mexico City, Mexico. Omar is a telecoms engineer by profession but a host by passion. He started his hosting journey in 2018 and is the CEO and founder of Mexico Your Home. He is very passionate about hospitality and always keen to implement new things to make sure his guests always have unique and memorable stays. Omar is a Host Educator. His true passion is to train other hosts and help them thrive. He is an Airbnb Super Host, a community leader and also a member of the Airbnb Host Advisory Board for 2021 and 2022. Omar describes himself as a community believer who loves to connect and network with other hosts as well as an obsessed learner from the STR industry experts, mentors and coaches.
