P.J.Spivack was born in New York. He worked as senior field engineer for IT&T in Greenland and as Chief engineer of twelve radio broadcast stations for the Department of Defense, in Europe. In 1966 the author made a career change and became an airline captain. For the next thirty-five years the author flew as pilot of four-engine as well as wide body jumbo jets in both scheduled and charter airline service, to nearly every world wide destination.
