Patrick Xavier Amoresano was born in Paterson, New Jersey, and grew up in nearby Glen Rock, where he lived until moving to Belmar with his wife Carolyn in 2014. Pat has 6 kids (Luke, Mary, Mike, Elaine, Joe, and Frank), and 2 grand kids (Josh and Matt), each one of them a miracle and a blessing. Pat's been a life-long dedicated member of the "Subway Alumni" of Notre Dame, where 2 of his kids went to college. This is what prompted him to write - "We Were The Fighting Irish" - a non-fiction work of cultural history; and "The Forgotten Father of Notre Dame Football" - a biography of Patrick Connors, and the origins and evolution of the football team that he fathered. Pat's first book - "From Which We Stem" - is a work of fiction inspired by events he had witnessed early in his life and legal career.
