Paul C. Ho’s debut novel, Art on the Human Heart, was named 2016 Best Self-Published Books by the Huffington Post, 2016 Best Spring Books by IndieReader, 2017 Finalist of the Eric Hoffer Award, and 2016 Finalist of the Indie Book Awards. He has also authored numerous medical papers and is a reviewer for several medical journals. Dr. Paul C. Ho is a cardiologist, and he currently runs a medical start-up venture. He studied engineering and medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Temple, Dartmouth, and Harvard. He headed a cardiology program for eleven years and was awarded several patents for his medical device inventions. Paul enjoys traveling to remote places and has volunteered in the Indian Health Service including locations in the bush of Alaska, where he was introduced to the Native life. His sensibility toward the Native culture and spirituality is often reflected in his writings. He presently lives in Hawaii with his pooch, Bear-Bear.
