Peter James Lamb is an Englishman living in America. Before that he was an Englishman living in France. Even more before that he was an Englishman living in Greece. He likes dogs and was, while living in Greece, completely outnumbered by them. He has written extensively about being outnumbered by dogs and won a creative non-fiction competition in 2002. He has sold many pieces of non-fiction, some of them accurate and some deliberately misleading. He now writes fiction and tries to emulate his heroes Douglas Adams, John Wyndham and Haruki Murakami. He has three grown-up kids living in England and he finds bouncing a skype-enabled laptop on his knee a poor substitute for seeing his three-year old grandson. He used to be a scientist and things scientific will, almost unstoppably, creep into his writing.
