Bridgestock is the pen name of husband-and-wife writing team Robert (Bob) and Carol Bridgestock, who bring nearly 50 years of frontline policing experience to their acclaimed British crime novels. Carol Bridgestock – Emotional Insight & Voice Carol worked for West Yorkshire Police as a civilian supervisor for 17 years and received a Chief Constable’s Commendation. Carol brings the detective to life. Bob regularly provides professional commentary on major crime stories for TV, radio, and national press. Outreach, Teaching & Charity Work In 2008, Carol co-founded the Wight Fair Writers’ Circle, which runs an annual writing competition raising funds for island charities.
