R. Jay Berry is the bestselling author, storyteller, educator, and inspirational speaker. She was born in Dallas, Texas where she received her formal education from Ursuline Academy, Texas Woman's University, and Amber University, respectively. After her retirement from the Dallas Independent School District of 30 years, her writing journey began. R. Jay released the Sunday Rose trilogy, the Forever series, and The Help Chronicles. Her latest publication, Suddenly God, consists of four inspirational stories of individuals who came into R. Jay's life at various times. Their stories influenced her thinking and knowledge about what obstacles people are confronted with and how the Lord keeps us and teaches us about his grace and mercy. Hopefully, the stories of these four individuals will resonate with the reader's spirit and reveal that with the Lord's help, issues are turned into successes. All of R. Jay's books are Christian based, have the themes of faith, family, and friendships, and based on actual events. R. Jay Berry is a member of New Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Mrs. Berry and her husband live in Texas.
