She lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her one brilliant husband, six delightful children, and two arrogant cats. She’s the award-winning author of multiple books for young readers, including the highly acclaimed THE FIRST MAGNIFICENT SUMMER and the forthcoming LOVE, SIVVY, a novel in verse about Sylvia Plath’s young adult years.
